This could be a real chance to give Baptista a shot in a team which will have a lot of first team players as opposed to the make-shift team we had against Sheffield United.

I'd like to see Baptista with Giberto and Rosicky in the middle of a 5 man midfield with Hleb and Van Persie on either side. Then Henry can play up top on his own with support from Van Persie, Rosicky and Baptista. But I don't think that'll happen and Flamini will probably start, which he probably deserves with his performances against Cheshite and Liverpool this season.

I hope Lauren plays but it might be too much to ask playing in such a high-tempo game as Liverpool at Anfield. The atmosphere there is electric and it'll be a game for level heads!

RVP is available and he should clearly play rosicky in the middle, but sadly I can not see that happening as for some reason unknown to man he sees something in Flamini that no one else does. Flam can just about get away with it in, in a 4 5 1, but next to Gilb in a 4 4 2 he is absolutely useless, would rather see Denilson who looks like he knows how to pass a ball, rather than flam who looks like he is crapping himself everytime the balls comes to him in the middle. He could play Bap as well there, which is what he originally wanted him for, as PV replacement, however Flam it will be and more shouting at the TV at him.

I reckon he will play his strongest team available (due to suspensions). He has been talking up the players coming back from injury like Lauren, Henry and Baptista.

Jens
Lauren Kolo Senderos Clichy
Eboue Gilberto Rosicky Hleb
Baptista Henry

????? hmmmmm

Does anyone know the squad that's been taken up to Anfield? Wenger has a thing for not playing his strongest team and I hope Henry isn't rested!

I think Rosicky can do a good job in the middle. It is his number 1 position so it'll be good to see what he's capable of. Gerrard's certainly been talking the talk hasn't he? Seems to be up for revenge for result at the Grove. Liverpool home form extremely formidable but I think we've got what it takes - expecially if Henry turns it on.

I think the game will hinge on Gerrard. if he plays a blinder we will sink. we will miss cesc badly as well. if its a flamini gilberto midfield there wont be enough creativity. I'd rather go with rosicky and gilberto with flam wide. with henry back though we always have a chance.

3-0 Liverpool I'm afraid! - I think they're coming in to a rich vein of form and their home record is just too good.
