The fact was that Arsenal played much better than Chelsea and without Drogba you would be even further behind United in the league and wouldn’t have won the Carling Cup. If he gets injured you guys are in serious trouble.

But I don’t suppose you’d actually be bothered if he died eh? Just whether you won the Carling Cup which is obviously much more important to you.

Arsenal were fantastic and as you said should have been a few goals ahead but with only one goal then Chelsea are always in the game no matter how much possession or how many chances you get.

The referee was poor in my opinion. How Denilson got a yellow card for his first challenge and then didn’t book Diarra for a clear body check was astonishing! And then Diarra finally got booked in the second half when it should have been his second yellow. Essien’s tackle on Baptista was also appauling and was lucky he got a yellow because there’s a few card happy referees in our league who would have flashed a red card.

We won the midfield battle and also in attack against their defence, but vitally Senderos couldn’t handle Dog Breath who was basically the difference along with Cech.

That second goal is so vital and just like the CL final we had chances but couldn’t take them. But you can’t blame the lads because they gave everything against the odds.
