Riiiiiight… Chelsea couldn’t even be arsed turning up and you Spuds still only just won it in extra time - and with help from a lucky header, and an even luckier penalty!

Chelsea were in all competitions and you guys are… well, in the Carling Cup Final. Nice one. Arsenal couldn’t be arsed with it and neither could Chelsea. Chelsea have bigger fish to fry this season. Do you?

“even tottenham is winning silver nowadays” Don’t make me fucking laugh. The League Cup twice in the last 17years. What a team!!
A guy nearly has his career ended and people like sky and the BBC see more importance in stroppy gallas and wengers comment. When i saw the challenge and the reaction of our players i nearly cried. And then i was so angry i wanted to break both taylors legs.
The media in England do pick on Arsenal. We do wonders for english football as a brand with our style of play but all you hear from the media every week is how we are ruining the national team.
What about when the players reacted at old trafford a few years back after van nistelrooy missed a penalty. They were crucified in the papers and got ridiculous bans. Lauren got 4 games and keown 3. So taunting a player is more serious than nearly ending a guys career.
And what about the brawl at old trafford in 1990 kicked off by a united lunge on an arsenal player resulting in arsenal being docked 2 points while united only got docked 1. And you know what we still won the fucking league!!
And there is plenty more events like this that have happened over the years where we have been screwed!
So excuse me if i feel like we are the victim once again!!

Well perhaps the coverage would be different, but why wouldn’t it? The comparrisson just isn’t fair.

Because the player is not of england nationality just as if gamst pedersen or fernando torres would to be injured. That would not make any whole pages either . But I am quite sure they would never hear the end of it in norway and spain.

I think you’re exaggerating the situation. Seems to me you’re taking out your frustration over bad substitutions, lack of concentration, poor form at the moment, plus your skipper is whining like a fucking baby.

You don’t think if Gerrard or Owen suffered the same injury the coverage wouldn’t have been different? The whole country would be in uproar! Remember Duche who broke Beckham’s ankle when United played Deportivo in the Champions League a few years ago? If he came into the country he would have been lynched! And being Argentinian didn’t help his cause!

And what does Taylor have to gain? Well an Arsenal player is out of the game for a start. It’s like asking why do chavs beat up old ladies, or why do scallies smash windows of random houses? Taylor should be forced to pay for the operationg as well as Eduardo’s salary until he is back in addition to getting a permanent ban form ever even looking at a football. Accident my ass! His foot was high on da Silva’s leg and even if the ball were there he would hit Eduardo’s foot over the ball. Taylor does not play a lot and he needed to impress the manager, but that is definetely not the way to do it. I hope he finds himself in a pub full of Arsenal fans one day… Eduardo has done so well to cover for van Persie, and even though he is nor used to play a tough english football game, he has done very well and scored goals, proved to be a good striker when the gunners need one.
