Nothing personal to him, but he clearly lacks what it takes to be consistent at this level. He was lacklustre in his defensive responsibilities and couldn't do the simple things right. He played better in the second half, but really struggled in the first. If Cesc is to leave, you can understand why - passing to Diaby or Iniesta?! I know who I'd chose.. Diaby needs to show some urgency on the ball and stop treating games as a training match. Sort your passing out and understand what tracking back means.. Does anyone think we would have gotten away with the things Bentley did? No chance! When will refs be required to explain the things they do? Perhaps then we will get a fair shake. The penalty at Man U that wasn't given, Bentley's obvious yellow card offenses which were not punished, the yellow for Vermaelen, etc. It doesn't stop.
