Ah the death of optimism from Arsenal fans is so sad to see. I agree we do need a keeper like Schwartzer if we want to seriously challenge and an experienced defender, but don’t see why we couldn’t surprise anyone. Nasri, Walcott and RVP will be our difference this year. + Arshavin has a point to prove after his dismal season.

Rooney is the most overrated player in the world and will struggle for goals this season.

To be fair, he did say his head says third.

My predictions this season are:

1. Chelsea
2. Manchester City
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester United

Chelsea are just too good and United are on the decline. City will be strong but won’t have the “mental strength” to get over the finish line.

And Arsenal will pick up 1 or 2 key injuries and struggle.

The bloke who said Spurs would finish above United is off his head!

i can’t predict nothing for now who is going to win the league but come back to me after the transfer window on september,as for the top scorer arshavin with 23 premier league goals.in arsene we trust!!!!

We are not strong enough defensively to finish it off.

1st - Chelsea (same team, still in their prime)
2nd - Man City (too much depth and quality now to be denied)
3rd - Arsenal (lacking a bedrock defense for tough times)
4th - Tottenham (has the horses to sustain its position)
5th - Man United (old and failing, will struggle at the back)
6th - Liverpool (good manager in Hodgson)
7th - Everton (good manager in Moyes)
8th - who cares this far down

so frustrating as the problems are known by EVERYONE and have been known for years.

one more year isn’t going to make denilson a bloody defensive centre midfielder or going to improve fabianski or almunia, or make djourou suddenly be able to play two games in a row, not that he has ever done anything to suggest he is a top quality centre back.

there is no way we are going to be champions, you don’t do the same thing every year and expect different results. Wenger’s idea is the team would have mature one more year, so they would have that experience but we all know we are 4 players short of being champions. 2 center backs, A goal keeper and 1 DM. Without these we have no chance. my prediction is

mANURE
cHELSKI
Man City
Arsenal
Liverpool
Scum

without any additions to the current squad we will struggle to finish in the top 4. utter joke that season starts in 4 days and we have no goalie, 3 centre backs and no back up for song!!!

unbelievable, he knew the problems and spent the summer doing sweet nothing. absolutely appalling.
