Why Arsenal Will “Bottle It” Yet Again Against Manchester United!

Tonight sees the showcase tie of the FA Cup weekend as Arsenal travel to Manchester United in the Quarter Finals.

In terms of Premier League performance, Arsenal sit in 3rd place on 58 points, a solitary point ahead of Manchester United who sit in fourth.

Arsenal have had an up and down season, but have managed to win 5 of their last 6 Premier League games (losing the other), while Manchester United have won 4 of their last 6, drawing one and losing the other. So in terms of domestic form, it’s hard to separate the two sides.

  1. ” Arsene Wenger and the players just end up bottling it against Manchester United. It doesn’t matter if they’re a team in disarray, or that they have an idiot managing them”

I’m afraid we’re the ones with the idiot in charge. We can’t beat Utd because Wenger’s idea of tactics is to cross his fingers and hope.

  2. times have change, the ferguson era together with some players who have that hatred mentality toward arsenal have gone.our team will put up a dedicated and better performance tonight

  3. Arsenal is getting mentally tougher and tactically more cautious. Tonight we are going to beat them in their own backyard

Just as we spilt it out against Monaco.
United always knows how to deal with the tactical ineptitude of Wenger and they just know how the clueless will organize his team.
Monaco just needed Berbatov to tell them how to deal with Arsene and his famous hole in midfield. United will try to score from a set piece. To equalize the two fullbacks will bombard forward. Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla will be too far up the field when Rooney will drive through our midfield and make a lethal pass. Same story, same recurrent mistakes, same misses for Giroud When our midfield will be tired or discouraged with Giroud blunders, Rooney will do his show and Wenger will fight with his zipper instead of shouting and reorganizing his team. We have seem the scenario so many times, to forget about it.

  4. The reason why Wenger has an appalling record against MU is simple. He doesn’t bother about defence. It’s always pass and pass a hundred times passing sideways and back and not direct. That ‘s why MC playing this way
were punished b y two quick and direct Pool goals giving defenders no time to react.
I suspect MU will target the German . In a one on one he will be inclined to give away a penalty.
I just hope Wenger will unleash Walcott/Ox to run at defences..It’s about time
the curse of the hoodoo team is broken.
