According to reports, Arsenal have ended their interest in Nuri Sahin after Liverpool offered to pay a bigger proportion of the players wages and agreed a larger transfer fee should Real Madrid sell at the end of the season.
The news around the Twittishere for a long time was that once Song left, Arsenal were going to step up their pursuit of Sahin but it seems they have just lost out to the Reds from Liverpool.
So where does this leave Arsenal?
Arsene has stated several times that midfield is a position we are strong, so to me the “signing of Sahin” was always a red herring to appease Arsenal fans after selling Song, who was one of our most consistent performers over the last few seasons.
i think wenger should be a firm leader, why will he say he only wanted sahin because of fans?, if that is the case, he should sign a striker, cause the ones he has on parade are “green” in the epl.
I am a fan of Arsenal and its hurting that we have become a serious joke because Arsenal are busy trading and selling their best players and keeping the money.Remember Sahins cooked photo’s i was certain we are now a joke of the world, If Arsenal can be beaten by Liverpool in terms of the offer then we have become a micky mouse club and will continue to play for nothing. Sahin is better than any player being punted honestly and Arsenal must pay to have him, pay the money you got for Song after all why sell song if hes got three years? its hurting, we waited two weeks for Sahin and now this is what we can, serious clubs are paying the best dollars for players, you also cant rely on players who are injured twice or for the whole season, its dissapointing.
