As I thought this morning, Wenger has opted to start Robin Van Persie alongside Adebayor, and rest Henry by putting him on the bench. It makes a lot of sense, and I’m glad I stuck my neck out and predicted he’d start with RvP!
Henry can always come on from the bench anyway if we need him.
It also looks like Arsene has opted for 4-4-2 and not gone with the 4-5-1 that has seen us do so well in Europe. With 4-4-2, expect Arsenal to create a lot of chances and go out for the 3 points we need in the fight for fourth spot.
Here is the team in full:
Starting Eleven:
Jens Lehmann, Emmanuel Eboue, Kolo Toure, Philippe Senderos, Mathieu Flamini, Alexander Hleb, Cesc Fabregas, Gilberto Silva, Robert Pires, Robin van Persie & Emmanuel Adebayor.
Substitutes:
Mart Poom, Johan Djourou, Abou Diaby, Freddie Ljungberg & Thierry Henry.
It will be interesting to see who the captain will be, but I’d guess that Jens would fill the role.
After 10 mins i thought we were going to beat them, but they were to strong all over the pitch, i must say that guy vidich looks like a rock and as for rooney the boy is a genius, they made us look very pedestrian, wenger got it wrong not playing Henry and lungberg from the start, pires was awfull so was ces.
haha you idiots thinking you can beat us in our own patch
oy manc, must agree rooney is awesome
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah
2-0! 2-0!
Should of had penalty of Toure’s save 🙂
i went to Old Trafford todayand guess what ! Senderos is still laying on the floor looking for Rooney hahahahahahahah
where is arsy
looking good for spurs now in our race to finish above you gooner wankers. we will beat everton today whilst you draw another blank against a struggling team. 7 points clear then and looking good for 4th spot.
as for this years CL, all the diving cheating poofs in the arsenal team will no doubt roll over and die when you play villareal. i have heard they have got some players under 30 and like to put in a tackle…
then we can come down the library, make some noise, watch spurs rough you poofs up and record a famous last win before they knock your shithole of a ground down at last (and move to cashburden grave and struggle to half fill it) and finally kick a few gooners heads in on the way back to the lane…
ha ha!
United followed up their win against Arsenal with a draw with Sunderland!
Way to go Team Manchester!
yid army, got anything to say now?
Or are you not feeling well? You know, from all the food poisoning!!
Pathetic excuse.
HAHAHA! 🙂
