Why Didn’t England Get The 2018 World Cup?

What a f*cking disgrace.

We have the best infrastructure, the best stadiums, the best fans and the best facilities. And at least we wouldn’t have those bloody Vuvuzelas at the grounds.

It’s a massive shame, because for me one of the beautiful aspects of English football is the multicultural diversity. On the pitch, in the crowd, it doesn’t matter if you’re black, white or orange. English football fans are fantastic and all that matters is the colour of the shirt.

And it’s also a shame because from the two major tournaments we have hosted, one produced a semi-final finish and we won the other. Home advantage is key for England to perform at a tournament.

We would have guaranteed full stadiums and a fantastic atmosphere at every game.

Expect Arshavin to get booed next week by the opposing fans!

Get In Portsmouth!

What a game!

Fantastic character from Portsmouth, brilliant result!

Congratulations Pompy, a great performance from the players despite all the off-the-field problems.

I f*cking love it.

You couldn’t ask for more; Spurs dumped out of the FA Cup and having to play 120 minutes before our game in midweek. Special mention for Ricardo Rocha, what an epic performance from him.

Bring on Wednesday night.

John Terry Is A Complete Disgrace

What a joke John Terry is.

Wayne Bridge has made an official statement saying that he doesn’t want to be chosen for the England team, in the wake of all the sordid allegations that John Terry cheated with his ex-girlfriend.

John Terry should be the one making a statement and stepping down.

Now to me, a lot of people are having a go at Wayne Bridge, saying he’s been crap anyway this season and players like Warnock and Baines are more worthy of a place in the squad.

But to me, that’s not the point.

Regardless of whether Bridge is off form or not, John Terry should have done the honourable thing and made himself unavailable. But to be honest, we all know John Terry doesn’t know what honourable actually means.

This is the guy that cheated on his team-mates girlfriend, despite the fact both relationships in question had children involved. Then, if that wasn’t enough, he desperately tried to cover it up by getting an injunction in court.

Then, once he was stripped of his England captaincy, he turned around and said he’ll try and win the captaincy back.

Is this guy even on the same planet?

But on a positive note, he can give you a guided tour of Chelsea’s training ground for just £10k.

The fact is John Terry is someone who does what he wants when he wants. He lives in this bubble where the light shines out of his arse and everyone around him is praising him 24/7. So it’s no surprise he did what he did – he thinks he’s untouchable.

And you know the saddest thing of all? It’s the fact that Bridge obviously felt that everyone was supporting Terry over the whole saga. Even everyone at Chelsea is supporting Terry – as if it was him who had been wronged! Football is truly a different world where the best players are treated differently to everyone else.

It’s like a popularity contest, and Terry still has support even though he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

But the England squad is full of Terry’s mates, like the cheating Ashley Cole, bar brawling Steven Gerrard, drugs cheat Rio Ferdinand and toilet seat stealing Glen Johnson.

What a disgrace.

Pity Ireland didn’t make the World Cup – I’d support them instead.

I Love Roy Keane, What A Legend! (Watch Video)

We all know Roy Keane hates the Irish FA, we all know he used to play for United, and we know he’s not exactly the best manager in the world, but the fact of the matter is:

Roy Keane is f*cking hilarious!

But despite the hilarious way he puts his points across, you have to say he makes a lot of sense!

Finally there’s someone in football who isn’t stupid or sad enough to just agree with the extremely biased British media.

Roy Keane, we salute you!

Thierry: It’s Okay To Cheat… If You’re English

I watched the France v Republic of Ireland game last night and although I’m not Irish I did get caught up in the match and I was more than happy when they scored, and was willing them to go through – even if the goal did come from a Spurs player.

So when Thierry Henry did that in extra time to set up William Gallas’ goal, I was enraged. And I was even more wound up when my Dad came out and said:

“All footballers cheat”.

My response was along the lines of “what the hell are you on about?” as I was still in shock that the goal was actually given.

And as the game ended, I received a barrage of text messages from friends telling me how Thierry Henry was a complete disgrace and well, I couldn’t really repeat what some of the messages said on here.

But after I took a step back I realised how amazingly hypocritical football supporters are, and how my fathers initially nonsensical statement was truer than I first though.

If you look back, most footballers (even the greats) have incidents of cheating on the resumes. Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Didier Drogba, Alan Shearer, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard… the list is literally endless.

It was amazing the abuse Thierry Henry was getting.

When a foreigner does it, they’re a disgrace but if Michael Owen dives to earn a penalty against Argentina in the World Cup then it’s not cheating, it’s being clever.

It’s funny how it’s all reported in the media.

Now don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand Didier Drogba but if you actually put all of his, frankly laughable, dives into perspective, he’s actually no worse than England’s very own shining star, Steven Gerrard. Now like me at first, you would think comparing a ‘cheating b@stard’ like Drogba to a roaring and inspirational leader like Gerrard was completely farcical. I bet you still think it’s ridiculous even now.

Well take off your blinkered glasses and take a look at this video:

It doesn’t seem so crazy now does it?

How often do we read in the papers that Gerrard’s a cheat or a diver? Exactly, never.

Hell, I’d even bet that most football fans talk about how much Drogba is a cheat more than Gerrard is. Even the Everton supporters.

So I’m sure that Thierry will be crucified in all the newspapers this morning, and I suppose a good witch-hunt sells newspapers.

I’d like to think Arsenal supporters are from a more intelligent breed, and realise that it isn’t just always an opposing player that’s been guilty of cheating. Whenever I see anyone cheat or dive (whether it be an Arsenal player) I’ll always say that’s a disgrace.

Cheating is cheating, not just when it’s against your team.

I’ve had it all tonight, “Henry’s a dirty cheat”, “I’ve lost all respect for him” and “Your hero is a scumbag” being some of the regular messages aimed in my direction. Funnily enough, I’ve also had a lot of people saying that Henry must have learnt how to cheat from Arsenal, which is a personal favourite.

But you know what, Thierry Henry will always be a legend in my eyes and he did so much for our football club. Whenever he was at Arsenal, it would be fair to say he was a role-model, on and off the pitch.
